Yesterday, VAI celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival with the DuPage community! Families, friends, and neighbors came together and connected through music, lantern-making, and mooncake eating.

Hôm qua, Hội Người Việt đã tổ chức mừng Tết Trung Thu với cộng đồng người Việt ở DuPage! Nhiều gia đình, bạn bè và hàng xóm cùng đến vui chơi với những cuộc thi xếp lồng đèn và vẽ tranh, nghe những bài hát dân ca và thưởng thức bánh trung thu.

Mong quý vị đến tham dự buổi mừng lễ trung thu lần thứ hai tại Chicago vào ngày mai (21-9) tại trụ sở HNV, 5110 N Broadway, Chicago IL 60640 từ 3:30 - 6:00 chiều.

Thank you @catatumbo_coop for the donation of over 300 tomatoes! During our distribution to over two dozen community members in Uptown, VAI staff, and volunteers, we discussed all the delicious dishes they planned to make, such as: tofu & tomato soup, tomato jam preserve, veggies with tomatoes, tomato sauce, salsa, and Vietnamese sweet and sour soup.

Cảm ơn Nông Trại Catatumbo đã tặng Hội Người Việt hơn 300 quả cà chua! Chúng tôi chia sẻ cho hơn hai tá thành viên cộng đồng ở Uptown, nhân viên ở HNVI, và tình nguyện viên. Chúng tôi nói chuyện với họ về tất cả các món ăn ngon mà họ định làm, như: canh đậu hủ & cà chua, mứt cà chua, rau xào với cà chua, sốt cà chua, salsa, và canh chua.
